How do I scan a document?
Open Home or tap the camera button, then follow the device scanner UI to capture pages. Each scan is saved as a document you can open, rename, and export from Documents.
Can I import photos instead of scanning?
Yes. Use import where available to pick images from your gallery. Imported pages are treated like scanned pages in your library.
What does Recognize text automatically do?
When this preference is on (Me → Preferences), new pages run on-device text recognition so you can search and copy text. Recognition stays on this phone.
Where are my documents stored?
Apexic Scan stores scans and settings on this device. There is no required account or sync. Uninstalling the app removes local data.
Something went wrong. What can I try?
Confirm camera permission for scanning, free up storage if exports fail, and retry with Online features off if a cloud tool fails. For more help, email hello@apexicsystems.com.
